Applications are open for the Yves Rocher Foundation Terre de Femmes International Award 2026. This global call for projects brings together the national and international editions into one powerful program under the theme “The Tree, Guardian of Life.” The award celebrates women around the world who dedicate their efforts to protecting the environment through meaningful, concrete actions that place trees and forests at the heart of their initiatives. Trees are recognized not only as essential in regulating the climate and safeguarding biodiversity but also as a vital part of cultural heritage and community life. At a time when deforestation continues to threaten ecosystems and livelihoods, this award highlights the role of women who are leading transformative solutions to protect nature.

Applications will be accepted starting from September 1, 2025, and will officially close on October 31, 2025, at 22:59 UTC. The winners will be announced in early 2026, a year that also marks the 25th anniversary of the Terre De Femmes program and the 35th anniversary of the Yves Rocher Foundation, adding special significance to this edition. The call encourages projects that are practical, innovative, and deeply rooted in community engagement, such as reforestation and agroforestry programs, preservation of primary forests, urban greening initiatives, educational campaigns, the creation of local nurseries of indigenous trees, and efforts to safeguard the cultural and medicinal importance of trees.
