Program Type
Fully Funded
Program Benefits
Grants up to USD 150K will be given out under this programme for one-year projects.
Eligibility Criteria
- A Principal Investigator (PI) who is connected to a recognised university in one of the 38 OECD Member Countries is required for each submission. The principal investigator (PI) must be qualified to receive funding at their recognised university; this may apply to teachers, postdocs, or research scientists, among other positions (depending on the institution). Co-investigators may be found outside of OECD member nations or associated with non-research organisations; in fact, cross-national and cross-sectoral cooperation is strongly encouraged. Co-Investigators, however, are not permitted to have ties to organisations in nations that have been sanctioned or to those that are on the Consolidated Screening List.
- Present employees of Climate Change AI and members of the Board of Directors are not eligible to apply for this grant as PIs, nor may they accept funds for their own salaries. Programme Chairs and Meta-Reviewers are not eligible to apply for this grant or receive funding in any form. Reviewers may, however, and conflicts of interest will be properly handled throughout the review procedure.
- Research that is currently supported by other grant programmes is not sponsored by them. The relationship between this proposal and any other grant proposals that have been submitted and/or are being considered for the same project must be made explicit. If the proposal is approved for funding, no project component should receive more than one funding source.
