HYBRID JOB OPPORTUNITY : London Climate Action Week (LCAW) Secretariat is hiring a Project Manager

London Climate Action Week (LCAW) is inviting applications for the position of Project Manager to join its Secretariat in London. This role comes at a pivotal time as LCAW evolves from an annual climate festival into a year-round organisation supporting global and local climate action.

Founded in 2019 by E3G in partnership with the Mayor of London, London Climate Action Week has grown into one of the world’s largest independent climate action platforms. It brings together governments, businesses, civil society, and communities to accelerate climate solutions through openness, inclusivity, impact, and radical collaboration.

About the Role

The Project Manager will play a central role in supporting the Secretariat during this next phase of growth. Working closely with the Head of Secretariat and under the guidance of the Chief Programme Officer, the role focuses on delivering the annual June festival while also helping to establish systems, processes, and partnerships that enable year-round operations.

This opportunity is well suited to a proactive and self-directed professional who is comfortable working with senior stakeholders, managing multiple priorities, and contributing to a mission-driven organisation shaping international climate action.

  • Coordinate LCAW’s thematic programme clusters

  • Lead overall project management of the annual climate week, including timelines, milestones, and coordination with partner organisations

Stakeholder and Community Engagement

  • Organise stakeholder briefings and thematic networking sessions

  • Build and maintain relationships with key partners, hubs, and flagship event organisers

  • Support governance processes, including advisory group and global network meetings

  • Contribute to communications, including website content and newsletters

  • Support fundraising and business development by tracking enquiries and identifying opportunities

Secretariat Operations

  • Provide day-to-day operational support and respond to external enquiries

  • Prepare presentations, proposals, and partnership materials

  • Liaise with external suppliers, including communications and web service providers

  • Support the rollout and use of a CRM system
