Key Responsibilities
- Assist in reviewing and analyzing supply chain data with a focus on social and environmental compliance.
- Contribute to the development of ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) policies, guidelines, and manuals.
- Manage ESG data entry, conduct analysis, and prepare related reports.
- Support routine administrative tasks such as managing correspondence and organizing documentation.
- Help create internal communications and training material on sustainability topics.
- Participate in other sustainability-focused initiatives across the business.
Candidate Profile
- Actively pursuing a Bachelor's, Master’s, or higher professional education (HBO+/WO) in a field aligned with sustainability, such as environmental studies or human rights.
- Demonstrates a clear interest in sustainability, including familiarity with EU policies and a solid grasp of sustainable practices within supply chains.
- Brings strong analytical and research capabilities.
- Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Fluent in English; Dutch is a plus.
- Able to dedicate 40 hours per week exclusively to internship responsibilities (note: thesis work is not permitted).

Additional Information
Mentorship: Interns receive one-on-one guidance from an assigned mentor to enhance personal and professional growth.
Flexible Work Setup: Up to two days of remote work per week for full-time interns, adjusted as needed during onboarding.
Compensation and Perks: A monthly stipend of €450 (gross), a minimum of 8 holiday days (based on 40 hours/week), travel allowance of up to €11.50/day (where applicable), 25% staff discount, a company laptop, and invitations to internal events like town halls.
Hold citizenship of an EU member state,
Possess a Family/Partner visa, or
Be a non-EU student enrolled in a Dutch institution, with the internship as a compulsory element of their curriculum or with a university that can sign a Nuffic Agreement.
Note: Entry-level roles at Hunkemöller may not meet the IND’s minimum salary requirements for work visa sponsorship.
