Applications are now open for the TrustLab Incubator Program in Kenya, the final round of a three-year European Union (EU) funded project implemented by DW Akademie, Code for Africa (CfA), and Siasa Place (SP).

The program invites media organizations based in Nairobi and Nakuru counties to participate in this unique initiative designed to help them strengthen their resilience against digital harm, build trust with their audiences, and foster collaboration within their communities.

Program Benefits

Selected organizations will receive a grant award of up to €5,000 to implement their proposed projects. Alongside financial support, participants will benefit from mentorship, capacity-building workshops, and strategic guidance from digital media, innovation, and community engagement experts.

The incubator provides organizations with the opportunity to develop strategies to combat digital harm, enhance community engagement, and strengthen their operations through practical training and peer learning.

Eligibility Criteria

The TrustLab Incubator Program is open to registered media organizations operating in Nairobi and Nakuru counties. Applicants must demonstrate a clear commitment to addressing digital threats, promoting digital safety, and strengthening media credibility. Organizations should be eager to engage in training, mentorship, and collaborative project work to improve their operational capacity and social impact.
