INTERNSHIP : Apply for the UNESCO Associated Schools Network (ASPnet) Internship Opportunity

The UNESCO Associated Schools Network (ASPnet) is inviting applications for interns to support its global education and learning initiatives. ASPnet is a worldwide network connecting nearly 10,000 schools across 167 countries, working toward a shared goal of building peace in the minds of children and young people through education.

Through concrete actions, member schools promote UNESCO’s core values, including human rights and dignity, gender equality, social progress, justice, democracy, respect for diversity, and international solidarity. The Network operates at both national and international levels, with a strong focus on education for sustainable development, global citizenship education, and intercultural and heritage learning.

About the Internship

Interns will support ongoing ASPnet initiatives by assisting with project coordination, monitoring activities, organizing programme information, and contributing to communication and knowledge-sharing efforts across the network. This internship provides valuable insight into UNESCO’s education programmes and offers an opportunity to engage with a global learning community shaping the future of education.

About the UNESCO Associated Schools Network

Membership in ASPnet is open to recognized public or private educational institutions, including pre-primary, primary, secondary schools, Technical and Vocational Education and Training institutions, as well as teacher training institutions. Member schools commit to integrating UNESCO’s ideals into their teaching, policies, and projects in line with the ASPnet guidelines.

The Network also operates ASPnet Connect, an online collaborative platform that maps member institutions, supports applications to join the network, and enables communication and knowledge-sharing among national coordinators and schools worldwide. The platform is available in English, French, and Spanish.

ASPnet serves as a laboratory for educational innovation, bringing schools into global education debates, strengthening teacher education, and creating opportunities for students to exchange ideas and experiences internationally.
