Available Teams and Roles

Research Team
CSI is seeking Deputy Directors to help lead its research agenda. The team produces evidence-based climate education materials, conducts policy analysis, and translates complex climate science into accessible content. Responsibilities include developing white papers, educational modules, and scripts for digital platforms. Candidates should have a strong background in climate science, policy, or related fields with excellent research and writing skills.

Communications Team (6 Roles)
Several positions are available to shape CSI’s external voice and brand presence, including:

• Deputy Directors of Communications

• Content Writer

• Brand Outreach Coordinator

• Editorial Assistant (Annual Report)

These roles involve managing website and email communications, drafting content, building media partnerships, and supporting storytelling efforts.

Finance and Grant Writing
The Finance team is recruiting a Deputy Director of Finance and a Grant Writer. Responsibilities span fundraising research, donor prospecting, maintaining CSI’s grant tracker, and preparing competitive funding proposals. Both roles are essential to ensuring the organization’s sustainability and global impact.

 Technology Team (3 Roles)
Opportunities are available for two Software Developers and one Project Management & Integrations Specialist. The team develops internal tools, streamlines collaboration systems, and explores AI-powered solutions. Applicants with coding skills (Python/JavaScript), web development experience, or knowledge of automation platforms are encouraged to apply.

🌐 COP and UNFCCC Affairs
The Deputy Director of COP and UNFCCC Affairs will support CSI’s participation in global climate negotiations. This role focuses on strategy, stakeholder engagement, policy analysis, and representation at international forums. Candidates should bring substantial expertise in climate policy and international negotiations.
