Join the YPARD Steering Committee as a Youth Leader
YPARD (Young Professionals for Agricultural Development) is inviting passionate young changemakers from Africa and the Asia-Pacific region to apply for its Steering Committee (SC). This is a unique chance for youth under 35 to contribute to shaping the strategic direction of a global movement dedicated to transforming agriculture and food systems.
As a Steering Committee Member, you will play a vital role in guiding YPARD’s vision, advising on global positioning, and supporting the organization’s long-term growth. Members work closely with the YPARD Director and fellow committee leaders, volunteering around 8 hours per month for a standard three-year term.
This role is ideal for young professionals engaged in agriculture, food systems, or community development who are ready to bring fresh perspectives, strengthen networks, and build lifelong collaborations.
Preferred background: Education or experience in agriculture/food systems, links with regional or international networks, and familiarity with nonprofit or grassroots initiatives.
This opportunity gives young leaders a platform to influence global agriculture and food system dialogues, while also growing professionally and personally within an international community.
