The International Water Association’s (IWA) Young Water Professionals (YWP) Steering Committee, with the support of the IWA Secretariat, invites young professionals across Africa to participate in a regional online session focused on water scarcity and climate resilience. This virtual event forms part of a series of regional calls aiming to connect and empower early-career professionals within the global water sector.

This session will feature several African YWP Chapters showcasing their ongoing contributions to achieving a water-secure future. With climate change increasingly affecting water availability across the continent, the discussion will highlight innovative engineering solutions, policy-driven strategies, and cross-sectoral collaboration that strengthen sustainable water governance.

The session will close with an open Q&A segment, encouraging interactive dialogue and knowledge exchange among participants from various sectors.
