MONTH STIPEND AVAILABLE : Apply for the DAAD SECAI Scholarships 2026 for Master’s Students in Artificial Intelligence in Germany
Applications are open for the 2026 DAAD Zuse School of Embedded Composite Artificial Intelligence (SECAI) Scholarships in Germany. The programme is designed to support outstanding international and local students pursuing master’s studies in Artificial Intelligence and related disciplines at TU Dresden or Leipzig University.
The scholarship initiative aims to strengthen global participation and diversity in AI education while supporting talented students with strong academic backgrounds and a passion for innovation in technology, science, engineering, and interdisciplinary AI research.
Students from a wide range of academic backgrounds connected to AI are encouraged to apply, including computer science, mathematics, engineering, law, medicine, natural sciences, social sciences, and other related fields. Women in STEM and applicants facing difficult personal or social circumstances are especially encouraged to submit applications.
Required Application Documents
Applicants are expected to provide:
- Motivation letter explaining interest in AI and connection to SECAI
- Updated CV or résumé
- Bachelor’s certificate and academic transcripts
- Relevant academic or professional certificates
- Declaration of other income sources or scholarships
- Reference number and submission date if applying simultaneously for admission
Application Timeline
- First application round deadline: 19 May 2026
- Second application round deadline: 30 June 2026
Early applications are encouraged as first-round candidates receive decisions earlier.
Programme Duration
The scholarship may support studies for a maximum period of two years.
