OPPORTUNITY: Apply For The UNESCO Youth Eyes on the Silk Roads International Photo Contest 2026

Applications are open for the 2026 UNESCO Youth Eyes on the Silk Roads International Photo Contest. The contest aims to encourage intercultural dialogue, promote peace, and foster mutual understanding among diverse communities linked by the historic Silk Roads routes.

For the 8th edition of the competition, participants are invited to submit photographs based on the theme “Living Heritage along the Silk Roads.” Young photographers are encouraged to capture traditions, craftsmanship, cultural practices, music, celebrations, food traditions, storytelling, and everyday life that reflect the living heritage and cultural exchanges of Silk Roads communities.

The competition provides an international platform for youth to share their artistic perspectives while promoting cultural appreciation and historical awareness. Winning photographs and selected entries will be featured in international exhibitions and a professional photography album titled “Youth Lens on the Silk Roads.”
