About the Internship
The internship provides hands-on exposure to humanitarian research, policy engagement, and community documentation. Selected interns will contribute to ongoing analysis and advocacy related to displacement dynamics in Sudan, South Sudan, Ethiopia, and Somalia.
Participants will work alongside policy experts and researchers supporting initiatives that promote protection, dignity, and long-term solutions for displaced populations.
Key Responsibilities
Interns will support programme activities including:
- Assisting research and documentation on displacement trends in the Horn of Africa
- Monitoring regional developments related to conflict, migration policy, and climate-induced displacement
- Organizing research materials and supporting project coordination
- Drafting briefing notes, summaries, outreach materials, and background research documents
- Contributing to storytelling and community-centered documentation efforts highlighting lived experiences

- Duration: Late May – Late August 2026
- Focus Area: Horn of Africa humanitarian analysis and documentation
- Compensation: USD $5,000 stipend
