Key Responsibilities
Working under the supervision of the Communications Team, the intern may contribute to several areas, including:
- Designing and formatting OSAA publications such as factsheets, policy briefs and other knowledge products.
- Creating flyers, graphics, digital assets and other visual materials.
- Supporting video production and editing for OSAA social media platforms.
- Preparing multimedia content for the organization’s website and social media channels.
- Improving the visual presentation and layout of existing communication materials.
- Developing simple data visualizations for reports and presentations.
- Providing technical support to enhance the overall visual quality of OSAA publications and communications..
Candidates should also have knowledge of:
- Adobe Creative Suite
- Canva
- Graphic design and visual communication
- Videography and multimedia production
- Social media content development
Language Requirements
Fluency in spoken and written English is required.
Knowledge of French or another official UN language—Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian or Spanish—would be an advantage.

The successful intern will have the opportunity to strengthen skills in graphic design, video editing, digital communications, public information, data visualization and social media while working alongside a professional communications team.

Travel, visa, accommodation and living expenses are the responsibility of the intern or their sponsoring institution. Candidates who are not citizens or permanent residents of the country where the internship takes place may also need to obtain the appropriate visa and work authorization.
