PAID INTERNSHIP : Apply for the WHO Business Operations Internship 2026 in Germany 

Applications are now open for the WHO Business Operations Internship 2026 in Berlin, Germany.Hosted by the World Health Organization (WHO) under its Health Emergencies Programme, this paid internship offers students and recent graduates an opportunity to gain practical experience in business operations, information management, and digital workplace technologies within one of the world's leading international public health organizations.

The internship will run for 24 weeks, from 2 November 2026 to 16 April 2027, providing participants with hands-on exposure to operational management, ICT support, knowledge management, and digital transformation initiatives in an international working environment.

Internship Responsibilities

Interns will contribute to a variety of operational activities, including:

  • Managing SharePoint sites, digital repositories, and operational records.
  • Assisting with IT and audiovisual documentation and service processes.
  • Supporting ICT asset management, including laptops and mobile devices.
  • Contributing to AI-enabled workplace initiatives and digital transformation projects.
  • Preparing operational reports, presentations, and documentation.
  • Assisting the Operations and Programme Management Team with administrative and coordination tasks.

Selected interns will receive financial and logistical support, including:

- Monthly living allowance of up to EUR 1,488 for interns residing outside Berlin.

- Monthly living allowance of up to EUR 684 for interns whose permanent residence is in Berlin.

- Daily lunch vouchers.

- Accident insurance.

- Practical work experience within the WHO Health Emergencies Programme.
Eligibility Criteria
- Be nationals of any country.

- Be enrolled at a recognized university or have graduated within the last 18 months.

- Have completed at least three years of full-time university studies before the internship begins.

- Be studying or have studied Information Management, Computer Science, Information Technology, Data and Information Systems, or another related field.

- Demonstrate excellent English language proficiency.

- Have good knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint.

- Possess strong communication, teamwork, organizational, and analytical skills.

- Knowledge of German is considered an advantage but is not mandatory.
