Minority-Serving Institutions (MSIs) current students and recent graduates are eligible to apply for this internship.

The internship program, spanning from May 2024 to August 2024, is overseen by the Director of Programs and offers 40 hours per week.

Along with tasks, the intern will be provided with housing in Liberia, travel, health insurance, training, supervisory support, online resources from Mercy Corps, professional development opportunities, and more. The expenses of working remotely will be on them.

A multinational organisation called Mercy Corps collaborates with more than 40 nations to strengthen communities. The five-year Incentivize Learning Activity (ILA) project, supported by USAID, aims to raise vulnerable children's enrollment and attendance rates in Liberia. The project's objectives are to supply wholesome meals, lower financial obstacles to education, and enhance the conditions that foster long-term access to education. 50,000 pre-primary and primary school students in 215 schools across the counties of Margibi, Montserrado, Lofa, Nimba, Bong, and Grand Bassa will be served by the ILA.
