The Humanitarian Impact Institute (HII) is offering a remote, paid three-month internship opportunity for early-career professionals interested in humanitarian and development sectors. The program, designed for individuals seeking exposure to humanitarian response and development programs, provides valuable learning through two specialized tracks: Research Internship and Business Support Internship.
Program Overview:
Location: Remote
Stipend: EUR 2,000 for the entire internship
Internship Tracks:
- Research Internship
This track offers hands-on experience in humanitarian research and evaluation projects. Interns will assist with literature reviews, help design research tools, and engage in data analysis. The role also includes exposure to project management and consulting, allowing interns to understand how humanitarian and development programs are planned and implemented. - Business Support Internship
Interns in this track will assist in strategic decision-making, including which organizations (INGOs, NGOs, UN agencies) HII collaborates with, and help determine project locations. Interns will also gain skills in crafting impactful proposals and work on real projects in various technical domains such as HR, IT, marketing, and risk management to support HII’s humanitarian and development initiatives.
