The 40 Days over 40 Smiles Foundation (4040) is excited to invite applications for volunteers interested in joining their mission to enhance educational opportunities for children in underserved communities. As a volunteer-based organization, 4040 provides literacy and educational resources aimed at improving the quality of learning.

4040 Volunteer Program
Applications are now open for volunteers seeking placement at 40 Days over 40 Smiles Foundation. Available positions are in the following departments:

1. Angaza Outreach Program
2. Communications & Marketing
3. Fundraising & Partnerships
4. Finance & Operations

Angaza Outreach Program
This role is ideal for individuals with teaching experience, particularly in Sunday School, or those pursuing a degree in Education, as well as those with experience working with children. The position involves preparing lesson plans and facilitating sessions in Community Primary Schools within the Kibuli area, requiring a commitment of at least 6 Fridays per term.

Communications & Marketing
Candidates with experience managing digital media, social media pages, or content creation are encouraged to apply for the communications role. Skills in photography, graphic design, video editing, and marketing are considered an advantage.

Fundraising & Partnerships
Candidates for the Fundraising and Partnerships department with experience in writing proposals, raising funds, event planning, and managing partnerships will have a competitive edge.

Finance & Operations
For the Finance department, applicants with accounting experience are preferred. Skills in petty cash management, financial reporting, budget monitoring, account reconciliations, and financial planning are highly valued.

Applicants for the Operations role should have experience in administration and office management, as well as strong organizational, project management, communication, and interpersonal skills. Leadership qualities are also a plus.

Volunteer Duration
The initial volunteering period with 4040 is one year, although volunteers may continue with the organization for longer, advancing through various roles over time. Please note that the position is strictly voluntary.
