
Volunteering : Apply for the Intercultural ESC Summer Volunteering Opportunity in Krakow, Poland (Fully Funded)
IB Polska is organizing a short-term volunteering project in Krakow, Poland, for July 2025. A team of 16 volunteers from various European countries will come together to organize intercultural activities primarily for children and adults.
Volunteers will be tasked with creating activity plans, preparing materials, leading activities, and compiling summaries, including completing their Youthpass at the end. The work schedule will be up to 35 hours per week. In addition to the work, there will be opportunities to connect with fellow volunteers, explore the city, learn about its history and culture, and enjoy quality time together.
The activities will take place in our social gardens. This project is also open to individuals facing fewer opportunities, such as those experiencing health challenges, economic hardships, unemployment, or educational barriers.

Additional Information
- The apartments generally feature shared double rooms, communal kitchen, and bathroom facilities. They are fully equipped with essential living amenities.
- Volunteers will receive pocket money and a food allowance for the 23 days of the program, with responsibility for preparing meals themselves.
- The host organization will provide public transportation tickets.
- Travel expenses will be reimbursed based on the European Distance Calculator, with reimbursement limits as follows:
- 10 - 99 km: €28 (Standard travel) / €56 (Green travel)
- 100 - 499 km: €211 (Standard travel) / €285 (Green travel)
- 500 - 1999 km: €309 (Standard travel) / €417 (Green travel)
- 2000 - 2999 km: €396 (Standard travel) / €535 (Green travel)
- Participants' primary health coverage will be provided by their national insurance. It is necessary to obtain a free European Health Insurance Card (EHIC) for healthcare in Poland. Apply for the card at least a month before your arrival in Poland. The ESC program also offers supplementary insurance to complement your national coverage.
- Upon completion of the project, participants will receive a YouthPass certificate, allowing them to assess their own learning and achievements.

- A basic command of English is preferred, as it will be essential for effective communication with other participants and during activities.
