WEBINAR : Join the Global Youth Movement for Water Capacity Development Series 2026
Registrations are now open for the Introduction to the 2026 UN Water Conference and the Global Youth Movement for Water, the first webinar in an eight-part online capacity development programme designed to prepare young people for meaningful participation in the 2026 United Nations Water Conference.
The free virtual session will introduce participants to the Conference's objectives, its six Interactive Dialogues, and the many opportunities available for youth to engage in global discussions on water, sanitation, and sustainable development. It also marks the beginning of a learning journey that connects young people with experts, policymakers, and fellow youth leaders from around the world.
About the Programme
The Global Youth Movement for Water (GYMW) Capacity Development Series is an international initiative that equips young people with the knowledge, practical skills, and professional networks needed to contribute to global water governance and the implementation of Sustainable Development Goal 6 (SDG 6).
The introductory webinar serves as the foundation for the remaining sessions, helping participants understand how they can actively engage before, during, and after the 2026 UN Water Conference.
