Apply for India Acumen Fellowship Program | FULLY FUNDED

Applications are being accepted by the Acumen Academy for the India Acumen Fellowship, which unites a group of remarkable people who are dedicated to eradicating poverty and have an entrepreneurial attitude.

They provide participants with the tools and community support needed to enhance their leadership, expand their impact, and drive meaningful change in India.

Through a comprehensive program and a supportive peer group, participants explore their leadership identity, develop greater self-awareness, and sharpen their abilities as team leaders and storytellers. They also learn to navigate conflicting values and leave the program equipped to negotiate across differences, inspire themselves and others, challenge conventional practices, and transform the people, organizations, and systems around them.

Acumen supports social entrepreneurs along their journey to create transformative change by investing across the capital spectrum. At Acumen Academy, they identify and train these leaders, equipping them with both the practical skills to build scalable solutions to poverty and the moral leadership to envision and shape a better world.

Curriculum Overview:

- **Polarity Management:** Learn to navigate differing perspectives and unite people around a common goal or issue despite conflicting views.
- **Good Society Readings:** Study classical and modern texts to explore the foundations of justice, morality, and the principles behind social change.
- **Adaptive Leadership:** Understand the needs of stakeholders, assess challenges, and manage uncertainty to drive effective change.
- **Authentic Voice:** Develop storytelling skills to inspire action. Enhance your ability to pitch ideas, engage investors, build partnerships, and connect with audiences.

What Defines an Acumen Fellow?

- You’re eager to elevate yourself and your work to the next level, seeking support along your journey.
- You have a bold vision for yourself and aim to become an influential leader, committed to the practice of moral leadership and understanding how to serve others, your work, and the world.
- You believe dignity, not wealth, is the opposite of poverty. Your organization empowers people living in poverty by providing choices—whether in jobs, education, or services—and you’re using business tools to create scalable, market-driven solutions that improve lives.
- You feel a pressing need to contribute to the world. Frustrated with the status quo, both personally and globally, you’re driven to expand your proven solution and are looking for the tools and community to amplify your impact.
- You’re ready to join a global network of peers equally passionate about tackling poverty. You seek a community where you can both give and receive support, redefine success, and prioritize people and the planet in your mission.

**Program Format:**

Fellows continue working in their current roles while participating in a 6-month hybrid program that includes virtual sessions, in-person workshops, and self-directed learning.

Here’s a summary of the program structure:
- A 3-day virtual orientation
- Two 5-day in-person immersives with 8 hours of self-paced learning and group discussions for each
- Four Learning Labs, each lasting 4 hours, accompanied by assignments

Don't miss out on the application deadline which is 30 October 2024
