Apply for IOC Young Leaders Programme 2025-2028 now open | Funding available

Young talents who are willing to make a difference and leverage the power of sport to address social challenges in their communities now have the opportunity to apply for the International Olympic Committee (IOC)’s Young Leaders Programme 2025-2028. The 25 selected participants will be announced in February 2025.

Since its launch in 2016, the IOC Young Leaders programme has implemented over 160 sport-based projects focused on education, livelihoods, equality, inclusion, health, peace-building, and sustainability, positively impacting more than 37,000 people.

Young individuals aged 20 to 28 can register by October 21, 2024, to participate in a four-week Learning Sprint, which includes four virtual sessions and reflection tasks on specific topics.

Upon completing the Learning Sprint, participants will be eligible to apply for the IOC Young Leaders Programme. Applications will be accepted from November 18 to December 16, 2024.

Those selected for the programme will receive support from the IOC and a network of mentors to develop their grassroots initiatives. Participants will also be awarded USD 11,708.44 in seed funding spread over four years, along with access to monthly expert-led workshops, global events, coaching, networking opportunities, and tailored support.
