Fully Funded : Apply for the African Water Corridor Scholarship
Starting in the 2025-2026 academic year, the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Geosciences (CEG) at TU Delft will offer the African Water Corridor Scholarship to two outstanding students from Sub-Saharan Africa pursuing the Master’s programme in Environmental Engineering, specializing in Water Resources Engineering.
TU Delft is excited to introduce this scholarship to support talented and driven MSc students from Sub-Saharan Africa. We particularly encourage applicants from Ghana, Kenya, and Tanzania to apply.
This two-year master’s scholarship will be awarded at the TU Delft Faculty of Civil Engineering and Geosciences (CEG). In the Environmental Engineering programme, students will address critical issues such as managing water resources, the impacts of climate change on urban livability, air pollution, and the depletion of natural resources like groundwater.
These challenges are increasingly urgent in a world of population growth and rising demand for clean resources. As an Environmental Engineer, you will explore these issues and develop engineering solutions in areas like air quality, hydrology, water resources management, water technology, and urban water infrastructure—fields in which TU Delft has a strong legacy of expertise.
The scholarship covers full tuition fees for the two-year TU Delft CEG Master’s programme, based on the statutory or institutional fee, as well as a contribution toward living expenses.
This scholarship is part of the TU Delft | Global Initiative Scholarship Fund, which aims to make studying at a world-class technical university more accessible for talented students from low- and middle-income countries. Through the Delft Global Scholarship Fund, supported by private donors, TU Delft is able to offer exceptional Sub-Saharan African students the opportunity to pursue an engineering degree. These scholarships strengthen TU Delft’s partnerships with African academic institutions and foster future leadership in sustainable, inclusive global development.
Don't miss out on the application deadline which is 15 January 2025 (23:59 CET) .
