Applications for the DAAD Munich Aerospace Scholarship are currently being accepted. Munich Aerospace's PhD scholarships are intended to enable young scientists to concentrate entirely on their research and earn their degrees quickly.

The Munich Aerospace Research Groups suggest research subjects and publicise them. Scholars have the chance to network both inside and across disciplines by participating in the in-house graduate school and becoming an essential component of a known research group.

The scholarships are meant for recent graduates who want to enrol in the Technical University of Munich or the University of the German Armed Forces Munich to pursue a doctorate in aeronautics.

The application deadline is on a rolling basis.

Program Benefits

A monthly sum of 1,575 EUR is available for scholarship financing.
When receipts are submitted, an additional subsidy may be given for costs directly associated with the PhD project (such as travel and educational materials).

Eligibility Criteria

possess a degree in aerospace technology with a final grade of "good" or higher; meet the requirements for admission to a doctoral program at TUM or UniBwM, respectively; and have no more than three years between the date on the university degree certificate and the scholarship application.
