The SVRI Forum’s Young Professionals Programme (YPP) is inviting applications from emerging researchers and practitioners. This program is designed to nurture leadership potential and equip early-career professionals with the tools needed to actively participate in major global platforms like the SVRI Forum 2026.

Participants will benefit from dedicated mentorship that helps them shape their research ideas, craft strong abstract submissions, and gain the confidence to present their work internationally.

A new feature for the 2026 edition is the early abstract mentoring track, hosted through Oxford Abstracts. This allows a select group of 4 to 6 standout candidates to receive in-depth support even before the official abstract window opens.

Each selected participant will be matched with an expert mentor from the SVRI community, receiving hands-on advice and feedback throughout the process. Regardless of whether their abstract is chosen for presentation, all participants will be awarded a travel bursary to attend the 2026 Forum in Bangkok.

Getting involved in the mentoring process ahead of time allows us to:

• Help participants sharpen their abstract writing skills and craft high-quality, competitive submissions

• Shine a spotlight on emerging professionals—especially those from regions that are often underrepresented

• Offer personalized support and coaching to ensure that, if selected, participants are well-prepared to present with clarity, confidence, and impact

Everyone taking part in the program will receive funding to attend the SVRI Forum 2026 in Bangkok, whether or not their abstract is chosen for presentation.
