Applications are currently being accepted for the Digital Opportunity Trust (DOT) Global Youth Leadership Advisory Board. DOT is looking for seven passionate and forward-thinking young people from Tanzania, Rwanda, Malawi, Zambia, Côte d’Ivoire, Jordan, and Lebanon to serve on this youth-driven board. The Global Youth Leadership Advisory Board (GYLAB) empowers young voices to influence strategy, support innovative program design, and strengthen youth representation across the regions where DOT works in Africa and the Middle East.

In this position, selected members will build their abilities in governance, public communication, intercultural teamwork, critical thinking, and research. They will also have the chance to contribute to initiatives that advance positive transformation throughout DOT’s international network.

Those chosen for the board will collaborate with other young leaders to help shape both ongoing and future DOT projects, ensuring they remain relevant and impactful for communities worldwide. They will offer insights based on their experiences as young people and share feedback from local and national contexts, helping refine programs that serve youth and women.

Board members will also provide strategic input to help align DOT’s direction with the priorities of younger generations, acting as a link between youth communities and DOT’s leadership. Additionally, they will represent DOT as youth ambassadors by engaging their peers, promoting DOT’s work, and driving wider participation and support through digital engagement.
