This winning photograph will be prominently displayed in the Austrian Parliament for a full year and become part of its esteemed permanent art collection.

Additional accolades include €1,000 each for three outstanding entries in the “Stories” category, €1,000 for the most powerful single image, and €1,000 for the best entry submitted by a young photographer in the “Children’s Peace Image of the Year” category. All laureates will be awarded the prestigious Alfred Fried Peace Medal and will receive an exclusive invitation to attend the award ceremony in Vienna in September 2025, with all travel and accommodation expenses fully covered.
