Applications are open for young leaders who wish to join the Youth Ambassador Society delegation to COP30 in Belém do Pará, Brazil, from 10 to 21 November 2025. COP, or Conference of the Parties, is the annual decision-making summit of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC). It brings together 198 Parties to review progress on the Paris Agreement and the Kyoto Protocol, while negotiating collective responses to the global climate crisis.

COP30 will be a landmark edition taking place in the heart of the Amazon, where discussions will highlight the critical role of ecosystems, indigenous communities, and global equity in climate action. By joining the Youth Ambassador Society delegation, selected participants will have the unique opportunity to witness and contribute to global climate negotiations, amplifying youth voices at one of the most important gatherings on the planet.

To be eligible, applicants must be fluent in Italian and English, both written and spoken, and must be 30 years old or younger at the time of the event. They should also note that expenses for food, accommodation, and transportation to attend COP30 are not covered.

All interested candidates are invited to complete and submit the application form no later than Monday, September 15 at 23:59 CEST. This is a chance for young changemakers to step onto the world stage and play their part in shaping the future of climate action.
