applications are open for the mtn pachipanda challenge 2025 in uganda. this initiative is part of a pan-african innovation programme by mtn and the world wide fund for nature (wwf), supporting youth to develop solutions that address pressing environmental challenges. for uganda, the focus is on sustainable waste management and tackling deforestation and ecosystem degradation. participants aged 18–35, including youth-led small and medium enterprises, are invited to present creative, tech-driven solutions that strengthen the food, energy, and water nexus. winners will not only receive cash prizes but also mentorship and the chance to compete at the continental finale.
