Applications are open for the 2024 Swiss Government Excellence Scholarships For Foreign Students And Artists

Graduates from all fields have the chance to pursue master's, doctoral, or postdoctoral research in Switzerland at one of the public-funded universities or recognized institutions thanks to Swiss Government Excellence Scholarships.

The Swiss government offers a number of postgraduate fellowships to international academics and researchers through the Federal Commission for Scholarships for international Students (FCS):

Any post-graduate researcher with a master's degree or higher is eligible to apply for the research scholarship. Additionally, recipients must intend to travel to Switzerland to conduct doctoral- or post-doctoral-level research or to continue their education.

All Swiss cantonal institutions, universities of applied sciences, and the two federal institutes of technology offer research scholarships for study or research. Only applicants who have been recommended by a professor at one of these universities will be taken into consideration.
