Applications are now open for the 2026 dsm-firmenich Progress Foundation Scholarship, offering outstanding young leaders the opportunity to participate in the prestigious One Young World Summit 2026 in Cape Town, South Africa.
Through its independent foundation, dsm-firmenich Progress Foundation aims to support emerging changemakers who are driving sustainable solutions and creating measurable social impact. The scholarship will support five exceptional young leaders to attend the global summit scheduled to take place from 3–6 November 2026 in Cape Town, South Africa.
About the Opportunity
This fully funded programme is designed for purpose-driven entrepreneurs and innovators who are actively contributing to sustainable development within their communities. Scholars will join global leaders, policymakers, and change agents at the Summit to exchange ideas, strengthen networks, and accelerate their impact.
The initiative reflects the foundation’s commitment to advancing sustainable progress by empowering young leaders who address urgent global challenges at their roots.
Focus Areas
Applicants must be making a tangible impact in at least one of the following areas:

Fighting malnutrition

Strengthening community resilience

Protecting and restoring ecosystems

Additional Information
