Fully Funded : Apply For The African Union CIEFFA & ImpactHER Online Training Program
Applications are now open for the upcoming Online Capacity Building Program jointly organized by the African Union CIEFFA and ImpactHER, beginning in September 2025. The training will be held under the theme: “#AfricaEducatesHer – Digital Skills for All: Closing the Gender Gap in STEAM, Financial Literacy, and Entrepreneurship.”
This initiative is designed for both women and men from all 55 AU Member States and the African Diaspora, with a focus on individuals seeking to enhance their expertise in gender equality through education, digital literacy, entrepreneurship, financial literacy, and STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics). Special attention is given to women educators interested in strengthening their ability to teach digital and STEAM-related subjects.
About the Program
This virtual training aims to build the skills of young Africans by promoting inclusive, gender-sensitive education and expanding access to STEAM fields. Through practical sessions, the program will empower participants to overcome key barriers that limit women and men in acquiring digital and entrepreneurial competencies. Additionally, the training is tailored to help women teachers deliver more effective instruction in STEAM and digital literacy.
Organizers:
-
AU CIEFFA (International Centre for Girls' and Women's Education in Africa): A specialized agency under the African Union working to advance gender equality in education across Africa.
-
ImpactHER: A recognized nonprofit supporting African women entrepreneurs by narrowing the gender funding gap and helping women unlock their economic potential.
Note: Participants will be grouped into cohorts. Each group will undergo a one-month online training beginning in September 2025.
