Selected participants will undergo a 12-month structured development journey, including onboarding, cross-country rotations, and deep finance exposure covering areas such as reporting, treasury, risk management, compliance, and financial planning. This ensures a well-rounded and practical learning experience.

The programme provides pan-African exposure, allowing participants to work across different markets, build strong professional networks, and gain insights into diverse business environments. This experience significantly enhances career growth and employability.

Participants also benefit from real business experience, working on impactful projects that contribute to sustainable food systems and agribusiness development. The programme is designed to fast-track participants into leadership roles within finance functions.

To be eligible for this programme, applicants must be professionals with a Master’s degree in Finance or a related field, alongside recognized professional certifications such as ACCA, CFA, ICAN, or equivalent. Candidates are expected to have approximately 3–5 years of relevant work experience in finance, ensuring they already possess foundational knowledge and are ready for advanced development.

Applicants must demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills, proficiency in tools such as Excel, SAP, or Power BI, and the ability to work effectively in diverse and sometimes remote environments. Fluency in English is mandatory, while additional languages such as French or Portuguese may be required depending on the country of placement.

A key requirement is mobility across African countries, as the programme involves rotations and possible placements in different regions. Candidates should be open to relocation and working in various operational contexts across the continent.
