Applications are open for the Running Start/Walmart Congressional Fellowship, a leadership and policy-focused program designed to prepare young women for careers in politics, public service, and governance. The fellowship provides participants with hands-on experience working with a Member of the United States Congress, either on Capitol Hill in Washington, DC, or in a congressional district office.

Selected fellows will gain direct exposure to the legislative process, develop political leadership skills, and join a nationwide network of mentors and peers across diverse political perspectives. The program also includes leadership training, policy workshops, and a campaign simulation to strengthen practical knowledge of political engagement and public leadership.

Participants will attend virtual training sessions and a fully funded in-person leadership experience in Washington, DC. Fellows will also receive a stipend to support their participation in the program.
