Applications are open for the funded traineeship programme for young graduates at the European Union (EU) Delegation to the Federal Republic of Nigeria and ECOWAS. This traineeship offers a unique opportunity for recent graduates to gain first-hand experience in the work of the EU, particularly in diplomacy, international relations, and development cooperation.

Program Benefits

This is a fully funded traineeship that provides selected candidates with a monthly stipend to cover living expenses during the traineeship period. Eligibility Criteria

This traineeship is specifically open to young graduates who are citizens of Nigeria and are currently residing in Abuja. Applicants must have completed at least a university degree and should demonstrate a strong interest in international relations, political affairs, development cooperation, or related fields.

Candidates are expected to have excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills, along with a good command of English. Additionally, applicants should not have previously benefited from a traineeship within the EU institutions for more than six weeks, ensuring that this opportunity supports new entrants into the field.
