FULLY FUNDED : Apply for the Ferguson Scholarship (2026/27)

Applications are open for the 2026/27 Ferguson Scholarship  which aims to expand access to world-class education for talented students who may otherwise not afford postgraduate study in the United Kingdom. Supported by the Allan and Nesta Ferguson Charitable Trust, the program provides substantial financial support to students from Africa and India pursuing selected master’s degrees.

For the September 2026 intake, three fully funded scholarships are available.

Scholarship Benefits

Successful applicants will receive:

Full tuition fee coverage worth £22,500
£6,000 contribution toward living expenses
Opportunity to study a specialized postgraduate program in the UK
Access to global research, professional networks, and career pathways

Eligible Master’s Programs

Applicants must apply for one of the following postgraduate taught courses:

  • MSc Pharmaceutical Sciences
  • MSc Drug Delivery
  • MSc Pharmacokinetics
  • MSc Stem Cells & Regenerative Medicine
  • MSc Biotechnology
  • MSc Psychology (Conversion Programme)
  • MSc Neuroscience for Drug Discovery
  • MSc Addiction and Mental Health
  • MSc Bioinformatics and Genomic Medicine
  • Master of Public Health (MPH)

Important Dates

  • Application portal opens: 2 March 2026
  • Scholarship results announced: June 2026 (via email)

Eligibility Criteria
- Hold a conditional or unconditional admission offer for one eligible program

- Be a citizen of an African country or India

- Possess a minimum 2:1 degree (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline

- Apply as a self-funded student

- Not be referred by an educational agency

- Be able to demonstrate additional financial capacity for living expenses to UKVI requirements
