FULLY FUNDED: Apply for the International Anti-Corruption Conference (IACC) Young Journalists Programme 2026

Applications are open for the 2026 International Anti-Corruption Conference (IACC) Young Journalists Programme. Organized by Transparency International, the programme offers an exceptional opportunity for early-career journalists from around the world to attend and report from the International Anti-Corruption Conference (IACC), which will take place in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, from 1–4 December 2026. The programme aims to equip the next generation of journalists with the knowledge, networks, and practical experience needed to strengthen investigative journalism and promote transparency and accountability globally.  

Only 10 young journalists will be selected to participate in this prestigious mentored programme. Participants will attend conference sessions, interview global leaders and anti-corruption experts, gain first-hand exposure to international discussions on governance and integrity, and develop stories for publication in media outlets after the event.

Program Benefits
Successful applicants will receive a fully funded opportunity to attend the International Anti-Corruption Conference in the Dominican Republic. The programme covers a return economy-class flight to Punta Cana, five nights of accommodation, and meals including breakfast, lunch, and dinner throughout the conference. Transparency International will also reimburse approved visa processing costs upon submission of receipts.

Participants will benefit from a structured mentoring programme, attend high-level conference sessions, interview leading experts and activists, expand their international professional networks, and gain valuable experience reporting on global anti-corruption issues. They will also receive support before and during the conference through briefing sessions and dedicated programme coordinators.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must currently be working as journalists with demonstrable experience reporting on social, political, or economic issues. Journalists from digital, print, broadcast, multimedia, and other media backgrounds are encouraged to apply. Candidates must be under 35 years of age on 6 December 2026, be proficient in English, and demonstrate a strong passion for fighting corruption and promoting transparency through journalism. Applicants should also be committed to producing at least one report related to the conference and securing publication or broadcast through a media outlet after the event.
