Join LEARNBLUE for a World Cleanup Day 2025 webinar on circular fashion as the organization marks this global event with a two-hour virtual session themed “Tackling Textile and Fashion Waste Through Circular Fashion,” scheduled for September 20, 2025. The webinar will bring together diverse perspectives to explore how circular fashion can provide practical solutions to one of today’s most urgent sustainability challenges.

Participants can expect keynote presentations from global and local experts who will delve into circular fashion, highlight emerging international trends, and examine the public health impacts of textile waste. The event will also feature the launch of LEARNBLUE’s comparative research paper titled Textile Waste and Circular Economy in Nigeria – Lessons from Kaduna and Policy Opportunities for Edo State, offering new insights and policy pathways for addressing textile waste. Interactive panel discussions will further enrich the experience by engaging students, researchers, laboratories, and government stakeholders in dialogue on innovative approaches to the circular economy.
