Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must be women who are nationals of a Sub-Saharan African country and who are currently conducting research or pursuing doctoral studies within the region. Candidates should be enrolled in a doctoral programme or already hold a PhD and be actively involved in scientific research. Eligible fields include life sciences, environmental sciences, physical sciences, mathematics, computer and information sciences, engineering sciences, and technology-related disciplines. Applicants are expected to demonstrate scientific excellence, strong research potential, and a commitment to contributing to scientific development within Africa. They must also be affiliated with a recognized university, research institution, or laboratory located in Sub-Saharan Africa.
Eligible Countries
The programme is open to applicants from countries across Sub-Saharan Africa, including Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda, Nigeria, Ghana, Ethiopia, Senegal, Zimbabwe, and other eligible countries within the region, provided applicants meet the academic and research requirements.
