Candidates must have secured admission into a postgraduate program—either an Honours or Master’s degree—at one of the recognized MINDS partner universities located outside their country of origin or residence. Applicants are expected to have achieved an academic average of at least 70% in each course or subject over their last two years of study. Furthermore, they must show clear evidence of leadership ability or promise, as outlined in the application requirements.

The scholarship supports full-time postgraduate study lasting one or two years, depending on the program and degree level.
