FULLY FUNDED: Apply for the Pan-African MineTech Startup Incubation Programme

Applications are open for the Pan-African MineTech Startup Incubation Programme under the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) timbuktoo Initiative. Hosted through the timbuktoo MineTech Hub in Zambia, this programme is designed to identify, nurture, and accelerate innovative African startups developing technology-driven solutions for the mining sector. The initiative seeks to make mining across Africa safer, cleaner, more transparent, and more sustainable by supporting entrepreneurs addressing real challenges within the mining value chain.

Selected startups will join the timbuktoo Pan-African Incubation Network, where they will receive structured incubation support from accredited incubators, gain access to experienced mentors, investors, and fellow founders from across Africa, and benefit from a digital platform offering AI-powered guidance, learning resources, and investment readiness support. The programme welcomes innovations that can improve mine safety, environmental protection, mineral traceability, responsible resource governance, climate resilience, and financial inclusion within mining communities.
