FULLY FUNDED : Apply For The Represent at UN Climate Negotiations – IPSF Delegation to SB64, Bonn 2026

Applications are open for passionate pharmacy students and recent graduates to join the official IPSF delegation to the 64th Sessions of the UNFCCC Subsidiary Bodies (SB64) taking place in Bonn from 8–18 June 2026.

This prestigious opportunity is offered by the International Pharmaceutical Students’ Federation, which represents over 500,000 pharmacy students and recent graduates across 92 countries. The program provides a unique platform for young professionals to actively engage in global climate negotiations under the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change.

SB64 is a critical component of the global climate negotiation process, where governments, observer organizations, and key stakeholders convene to advance discussions on mitigation, adaptation, climate finance, technology transfer, transparency, and the implementation of the Paris Agreement. The outcomes from these sessions directly contribute to decisions at COP31. For participants, this is an opportunity to represent the health and pharmaceutical sector in shaping global climate policy while gaining firsthand experience in international governance.

Selected delegates will gain unparalleled exposure to international climate negotiations and policymaking processes. They will have the opportunity to attend high-level sessions, engage with global leaders, and contribute to discussions that shape climate action worldwide. This experience will significantly enhance participants’ understanding of global governance, diplomacy, and interdisciplinary collaboration.

Delegates will also expand their professional networks by connecting with policymakers, researchers, youth leaders, and representatives from international organizations. In addition, they will strengthen their advocacy, communication, and policy analysis skills, positioning themselves for future leadership roles in climate and health sectors. While financial support may be provided, it is typically partial and may not cover all expenses.
Eligibility Criteria
This opportunity is open to pharmacy students and recent graduates from around the world who are affiliated with the International Pharmaceutical Students’ Federation or its member organizations. Applicants are expected to demonstrate a strong interest in climate action, public health, and global policy processes. They should possess a clear understanding of the intersections between climate change and health, along with the ability to contribute meaningfully to policy discussions.

Candidates should also have strong communication and advocacy skills, as they will be expected to represent IPSF in high-level international spaces. Previous experience in leadership, research, advocacy, or participation in climate or health-related initiatives will be considered an added advantage. Applicants must be committed to active participation throughout the duration of the conference and to contributing to IPSF’s ongoing climate and health initiatives.

This opportunity is open globally to applicants from all countries, provided they are pharmacy students or recent graduates affiliated with the International Pharmaceutical Students’ Federation or its member organizations.
