Makerere University and Mastercard Foundation are partnering again to offer scholarships to students from 2023 to 2034. This program will give 1000 scholarships over 10 years to students pursuing undergraduate and master's degrees at Makerere University's main campus.

The program aims to support young people from disadvantaged communities, especially in Africa, to access quality education and become future leaders. To achieve this, the program has set some targets:

- At least 70% of the scholarships will go to female students
- 30% will go to male students
- 25% will go to refugees and internally displaced people
- 10% will go to youth with disabilities

Applicants must submit complete forms, as incomplete forms will be disqualified. The selection process is based on merit, and any attempt to influence the process will lead to disqualification.
