Prominent academics come together to investigate the connection between technology and society through the Digital Humanism Fellowship. The Institute is the host of the program, which promotes interdisciplinary cooperation and creative research while offering fresh insights into the ways that the globalised world affects social, economic, and geopolitical processes.
Each semester, the fellowship offers:
- One senior visiting fellow: A one-month residency for a senior scholar.
- Two junior visiting fellows: A three-month residency for early-career researchers.
Fellows actively participate in the Institute’s academic community through seminars, workshops, and cross-disciplinary discussions.

Additional Information
Stipends:
Postdoctoral researchers: €3,300/month
Doctoral candidates: €2,750/month
The stipend covers accommodation, living expenses, travel, health insurance, and incidental costs.

Senior Visiting Fellowships: By invitation only.
Junior Visiting Fellowships: Open to doctoral candidates or postdoctoral researchers (PhD within the past four years). Applicants should focus on topics exploring the intersection of digitalization with societal, economic, and geopolitical aspects, as well as other relevant themes within the humanities and social sciences.
