Fully Funded to Kigali : Be Africa Impact Fundraising (AIF) Grant Program ( with the chance to earn up to $5,000 USD in matching funds)
The Africa Impact Fundraising (AIF) Grant Program is a new initiative launched by the New Africa Fund, designed to empower African NGOs, community-based organizations, and social enterprises by addressing their need for funding and fundraising expertise.
Chosen organizations will begin with an online training focused on small donor campaigns, followed by a 30-day fundraising challenge. During this challenge, they can earn up to $5,000 USD in matching funds.
The best-performing organizations will be invited to Kigali, Rwanda, for a week-long workshop that covers essential fundraising topics such as financial management, marketing, communications, grant writing, donor research, retention, individual donor campaigns, and local fundraising strategies.

- Organization’s Registration Document
- An organizational chart
- Most recent external audit (or, if unavailable, five months' worth of financial statements for all accounts)
Applications are open now! Apply for an AIF Grant between January 10th and February 9th, 2025. (Applications close at 12 AM UTC on February 9th.)

Additional Information
Participating organizations will engage in a 30-day fundraising challenge with the chance to earn up to $5,000 USD in matching funds.
All participants will receive 12 months of free fiscal sponsorship from the New Africa Fund, with an option for extension.
The top 10 performing organizations will be invited to Kigali for a week-long intensive workshop to enhance their fundraising skills.
Additional performance-based fundraising opportunities will become available as the program progresses.
