FULLY FUNDED TO NAIROBI, KENYA: Apply for the UNEA-7 and OECPR-7 Youth Environment Assembly for climate activists and young changemakers
Applications are open for young people eager to contribute to shaping the global environmental agenda. Youth leaders and advocates now have the opportunity to participate in key gatherings taking place in Nairobi, where the future of international environmental governance will be discussed.
Selected participants will take part in the Youth Environment Assembly (YEA), the 7th session of the UN Environment Assembly (UNEA-7), and the 7th session of the Open-ended Committee of Permanent Representatives (OECPR-7). These forums bring together governments, civil society, and youth to deliberate on pressing ecological challenges and design strategies for collective action.
This is a chance for young voices to be heard directly in global negotiations, to champion intergenerational justice, and to develop a deeper understanding of multilateral decision-making processes. Beyond policy engagement, the experience is designed to strengthen leadership skills and expand networks among peers and international stakeholders committed to environmental protection.
Both funded and self-funded places are available for participants, with applications reviewed continuously. Those seeking financial support should apply before October 3, while the final deadline for self-funded applications is October 30.
