Applications are now open for the 2026 Nordic Africa Institute Scholarship Program, offering early-career researchers from Africa the chance to carry out their independent research in the fields of Social Sciences and Humanities. The scholarship grants access to the Institute's library and other resources, fostering a stimulating research environment.

The goal of the African Scholarship Program is to create opportunities for early-career researchers based in Africa to advance their research projects at the Nordic Africa Institute.

The Nordic Africa Institute also aims to support the development of knowledge about Africa while fostering connections between African and Nordic research communities.
