FULLY FUNDED TO USA: Apply for the Arizona State University Mastercard Foundation Graduate Certificate Scholarship Program 2025-26 for young Africans
Applications are currently open for the 2025/2026 academic cycle of the Arizona State University (ASU) Mastercard Foundation Graduate Certificate Scholars Program. Through a partnership between ASU and the Mastercard Foundation, aspiring professionals now have the opportunity to access scholarships for specialized online certificate programs. These flexible and self-paced learning tracks allow participants to acquire essential skills in fields such as international management and supply chain logistics. Additionally, learners who successfully complete the certificate will be automatically considered for a fully-funded online master’s degree through this prestigious initiative.
Participants can choose from a selection of part-time, remote graduate certificates designed to boost their professional development. These include a Certificate in Global Management with a focus on innovation and entrepreneurship, and a Certificate in Supply Chain Management. The Global Management program, hosted by ASU’s Thunderbird School of Global Management, prepares learners to lead with integrity in a highly interconnected world, emphasizing sustainable practices and strategic international decision-making. Meanwhile, the Supply Chain Management track, provided by the W. P. Carey School of Business, delivers in-depth knowledge in procurement, logistics, and operations, enabling participants to develop efficient and sustainable supply chain systems.
Program durations vary, with the Global Management Certificate taking approximately ten months to complete, while the Supply Chain Management Certificate runs for about four months. The courses are primarily asynchronous, allowing learners to progress at their own pace within specific timelines. Although occasional real-time sessions or collaborative discussions may be part of the experience, these live interactions are generally optional and designed to enrich the overall learning process.
To qualify for this opportunity, candidates must be African citizens who are committed to responsible leadership and have demonstrated a history of contributing to their communities. Applicants must be aged between 18 and 33 at the time of the application deadline, and must hold a bachelor’s degree awarded by July 2025. Candidates who have already begun or completed any graduate-level education prior to August 2025 are not eligible to apply. In addition, applicants should reflect both academic excellence and a clear financial need that might otherwise limit their educational aspirations.
The scholarship covers all tuition fees associated with the certificate program and offers learners a highly adaptable online experience. Selected participants will benefit from personalized guidance through mentorship and coaching, access to university-wide resources, and the potential to earn academic credit applicable toward future master’s studies. Outstanding scholars may also be awarded full scholarships for ASU’s online master’s programs in areas such as supply chain or leadership and management.
