Application Guidelines
- All submissions must be original creations of the applicant. Manga works primarily produced using AI—including the story, structure, or artwork—will not be accepted. However, AI-generated images may be used as supplementary elements, provided this is clearly stated in the designated section of the Application Form.
- Submissions must be in PDF format.
- If the work was created on paper, it must be photographed or scanned and converted into a PDF file.
- Only one submission per comic artist is permitted. In the case of multiple entries, only the first will be reviewed; all subsequent submissions will be disqualified.
- The Application Form must be completed in either English or Japanese.
- Submitted digital files must be formatted so they can be printed on A4-size paper.
- For vertical scroll formats like webtoons, the content must be rearranged into individual panels or pages suitable for A4 print.
- Page numbers must appear on every page of the manga submission.
- If the submission includes two-page spreads, this must be clearly indicated.
- Applicants whose entries are shortlisted for an award may be asked to submit additional printed copies.
- Manga in any language is welcome.
