Funded to France :Apply for the YOUthDIG 2025 in Strasbourg

The Youth Dialogue on Internet Governance (YOUthDIG) is an annual pre-event to the European Dialogue on Internet Governance (EuroDIG), designed to promote active involvement from young people aged 18 to 30. Like EuroDIG, the youth program is organized through an open, transparent, and inclusive process, ensuring that it generates meaningful results. Nadia Tjahja conducted a research study on effective youth participation, which was included in the "A Decade of ..." series. Impressions from 2024 can be found here. In addition, the team is conducting Youth Funding Research to identify funding opportunities for young people through national organizations and relevant EU schemes.

The team is seeking 30 young individuals from across Europe to join a pre-event program designed to prepare those interested in internet-related topics to become active participants in EuroDIG.

During YOUthDIG, participants will gain knowledge about Internet Governance, engage in discussions with experienced internet policy professionals, and take part in peer-to-peer learning and networking with other young people from Europe. Participants will be actively involved in developing policy messages (see Reporting) that will be presented at EuroDIG and the global IGF.

The YOUthDIG event will include an online phase with virtual meetings, followed by an in-person event. The in-person meeting will take place just before EuroDIG, starting on 9 May 2025 in Strasbourg.

The application period for YOUthDIG 2025 will  close on 7 February 2025 at 23:59 CET.
