The Cambridge Masters in Conservation Leadership is an innovative program that provides students with practical leadership and management abilities essential for making a positive impact in conservation. What sets this course apart is its joint delivery by the University of Cambridge and ten prominent conservation organizations, forming the Cambridge Conservation Initiative. This master's program is intended for individuals who have a minimum of three years of relevant professional experience and demonstrate strong leadership potential.

The curriculum combines taught modules with hands-on experiential learning through a group consultancy and an individual professional placement hosted by a conservation organisation.

Every student benefits from personalized mentoring by a senior leader as part of the program. The course is situated in the David Attenborough Building, providing students with exceptional facilities and the opportunity to interact with leading conservation practitioners and researchers from around the world.

Upon graduation, students become part of a global alumni network spanning over 85 countries, where they continue to receive ongoing support. Many alumni are already making significant contributions to global conservation efforts.

Scholarships are available to assist students in financing their studies in the Masters in Conservation Leadership program. These scholarships are awarded to individuals with exceptional potential in conservation leadership who lack alternative funding sources. Priority is given to applicants from biodiverse regions with limited financial resources. Additional awards are accessible through organizations like the Cambridge Trusts. Importantly, there is no longer an application fee for students from the least developed countries.
